Photography is an art, the discipline, and practice of taking beautiful, unique images by physically recording light, usually by means of an optical lens, by using an electronic camera, or by using a light-sensitive element like photographic film. Photography is now a very popular hobby and profession. It can be described as the art and science of seeing. Today, the demand for digital cameras and photographic equipment is growing rapidly, as people are more interested in being able to create and reproduce as many photographic images as possible.

There are three basic methods of photography: and these are still very much used today. These are still part of the main article. The first of these, known as point and shoot, involves the user manually aiming the camera at the target object, adjusting settings until the image looks correct, and then deciding whether to continue or quit. This is not the full potential of the camera, since it has only relatively simple tools for getting excellent results, but it does show the beginnings of what is to come in the field of photography. The full potential of the photographic film and the printer determines the full potential of the photograph.

The second method is also called SLR photography: or single-lens reflex photography, where the photographer focuses a lens onto a film or photo negative, where the camera then magnifies the image so that it is seen through the lens. This is a more refined form of point and shoot photography, where you can control the depth of field, or “blur”, of the image. One advantage of this type of photography is that you can make very fine focused photographs, where objects in the foreground do not appear blurred at all, just as they would if the image were viewed through a binocular. Another advantage is that you can take very long exposures and have the photographs taken for every minute of the day, even days or nights, without the need for a special camera. However, the main disadvantage is that you need a very powerful camera in order to achieve this level of quality.

A third method is known as a macro photography: where you use a compact camera in order to take a photograph that shows a very small portion of the scene. One example of this is taking a photograph of a flower. If you have a camera that has a lens with a long lens, you can make the image look as large as the whole flower, by turning the camera to its telephoto setting. This type of photography is used mainly to create an art form of miniature painting, where the photographer has to study the subject so carefully that he or she can capture every tiny detail of the flower.

The fourth main article: that I am going to discuss today is called SLR photography, or single-lens reflex photography. This is a very refined form of digital camera photography, where the camera determines the focus, rather than the lens. The first thing that you need to know is that in order to achieve this kind of quality, it is important that you have a good lens for the job. Your main article on focusing properly will explain this further.

A last main article: that we are going to discuss today is about shutter speed and focus. Your camera’s shutter speed controls how much light is allowed to go through your lens. This is important, because the faster the shutter speed, the less time your photos are exposed. However, if your lens has a long enough lens, it can expose more light at one time, resulting in a better quality photo. When you are taking photographs of bright objects like trees or flowers, it is advisable to increase the shutter speed to make sure that more light is exposed.

To master this technique, you should practice extensively, because the more you are practiced, the quicker you will be able to take high quality photographs.
